Voice Characterization: Noah Heckaman
Not much is known about Noah. He was born in 1982, in inner-city Detroit. At the age of nine, he was arrested for running
from the police, when threatened with a tobacco citation. When he was twelve, he was arrested for car-jacking. Thirteen, more
carjacking. Fifteen, possession. At age sixteen, he jacked a car, and drove to Megaloch, where he established an apartment,
and worked his criminal mind on the streets of the inner-city.
Over the five years he spent here, he met his challenging rivals, two MPD Detectives, Perry and Gambill. Throughout the
five years Noah lived in Megaloch, Perry and Gambill followed cold trail after cold trail trying to put him away, but to no
avail. Finally, in 2002, Noah was arrested for triple homicide. The syndicate he had created threatened to crumble, and take
him with it, so he murdered the only three living members, and was planning to move out of the country. It was the very day
he boarded a monorail to the airport that Perry and Gambill caught up with him and arrested him for the three murders.
He was sentenced to life in prison without parole. During the first five years, Noah had planned, in depth, his escape
from prison. On the fifth year, his plan went into play. His one trusted contact on the outside, who is never seen or named,
withdraws Noah's five million in living expenses, which was to be used when Noah fleed the country. With this money, Noah
charged him with walking the streets of every city necessary to find a man looking as close to him as possible. When this
was achieved, the look-alike was kidnapped, and forced under the knife to exact his features. Once this was completed, the
man's fingers were charred, and he was dropped on the barbed wire fence. When the alarms in the prison sounded, the guards
were called out, and Noah began his decent through the tunnel that had been worked on seemlessly for those five years, which
seemed to lead directly to a position on the inside of the fence. Of course, this was for the police to find, and so Noah's
escape relied on that same tunnel stretching one block away to a train yard. Once Noah passed the decoy hold, he walled up
behind him, the tunnel through which he escaped.
To the knowledge of the police, Noah had died during an attempted escape, and charred his own fingers to avoid print detection.
This was effective for a few days. Within those days, Perry and Gambill had time to check the dental records, which cleared
suspicion, and check the DNA evidence found during the murders five years ago, to the DNA found in the blood on the fence
and ground at the prison. This flaw in Noah's plan led to an immediate warrant for Noah's capture, and an all-points bulletin
for every metropolitan police officer.
Again, on the very day Noah boarded a bus to the airport, Perry and Gambill were hot on his trail. They intercepted him
on the Mandela Tunnel Bridge, and a high speed chase ensued. After narrowly escaping Perry and Gambill and a blockade, Noah
comes across a pirate-themed cruiseliner, and decides to highjack it, and sail it out to international waters. Before this
plan pulls through, however, he encounters The Captain and Hektor on the cruiseliner, and moments later becomes a crewmate,
eventually the gunner, indefinitely.
Noah possesses his own mecha, which is given the name "The Ark," build by Sam in an attempt to get Noah's skill with weaponry
effective both in AND out of the Dreadknot.
